Letter Writing Campaign

For too long our courts have lacked diversity. The University of Ottawa Association of Women and the Law needs your help to change this.

We are establishing a letter writing campaign where anyone can have a voice to demand that the next appointments to Canada’s highest court come from diverse backgrounds. To make things easier for you, we have created a template that provides you with the best tips to (quickly!) write an effective letter.

Things will not change unless we act. Use your voice to advocate for a Supreme Court that reflects our society.

You can find a sample letter here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J0nJndSs9PsGLZ67Atn5ylOgeYdojzH3hlXNAihM-Hw/edit?usp=sharing

If you have any feedback or suggestions to improve this campaign, please reach out to any member of the UOAWL or at uoawl.afduo@gmail.com
———————————–
